London will host the 15th UK–Africa Business, Trade & Investment Summit on 12 September 2025 at The Royal Horseguards Hotel & One Whitehall Place. More than 500 senior leaders, investors, policymakers, and entrepreneurs are expected to take part in what has become the UK’s most important annual platform for advancing Africa-focused trade and investment.
The event comes at a time when the UK’s Africa strategy is shifting decisively towards investment-led engagement, with respect, equality, and African ownership at its core. Instead of relying on aid models, partnerships are now focused on co-created strategies aligned with the African Union’s Agenda 2063.
This year’s programme highlights growth sectors where UK investors are playing a catalytic role. Opportunities in renewable energy, climate finance, digital transformation, FinTech, infrastructure, logistics, and AgriTech will take centre stage. Delegates will also explore how AfCFTA is reshaping the trade landscape and what this means for scaling businesses across the continent.
The Summit marks 15 years of impact since its inception in 2010. Over that period, it has helped broker major trade agreements, foster public-private partnerships, and mobilise UK investment across key sectors. With new finance-ready projects on the agenda, this year promises to build on that legacy and open a fresh chapter for UK–Africa relations.
