LONDON, UK – The organisers of the 15th UK–Africa Business, Trade & Investment Summit are proud to announce a strategic partnership with the UK–Pakistan Trade & Investment Board (UPTIB). This collaboration reflects a shared vision to deepen commercial links, promote cross-continental trade, and unlock investment between the UK, Pakistan, and East and Southern Africa.

Scheduled for 12 September 2025 at the prestigious Royal Horseguards Hotel & One Whitehall Place in London, the Summit will bring together over 500 senior stakeholders from government, finance, trade, and enterprise. This year’s theme, “Accelerating Growth Through Partnerships for Global Market Expansion,” underscores a commitment to inclusive growth and high-impact deal-making.

Why This Partnership Matters

The UK–Africa Summit has long been a platform for connecting investors, project owners, and policymakers from across the continent. The addition of UPTIB strengthens the Summit’s south–south engagement strategy, providing a channel for Pakistani entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and investors to explore market entry, joint ventures, and sourcing opportunities in East Africa’s rapidly growing economies.

Mr. Khalil Choudhary, Founder and President of UPTIB, noted:

“Pakistan has a strong SME base, competitive manufacturing, and growing appetite for agri-based imports and infrastructure investment. With East Africa’s industrialisation push and abundant natural resources, the synergies are clear. UPTIB is delighted to partner with the UK–Africa Summit to accelerate business-to-business connectivity across these regions.”

Key Objectives of the Partnership

  • Enable trilateral trade corridors between the UK, Pakistan, and Africa.
  • Promote investment-ready opportunities in energy, infrastructure, agriculture, and ICT.
  • Facilitate B2B and B2G matchmaking with stakeholders from both regions.
  • Support diaspora-led entrepreneurship and innovation-driven economic ties.
  • Provide platforms for Pakistani exporters and service providers to access new African markets.
