At the summit, Mr. Edward Katende will highlight how the Uganda Development Forum (UDF) is mobilising diaspora investment and public–private partnerships to drive Uganda’s socio-economic transformation. He will showcase bankable projects in key sectors like agro-industrialisation, renewable energy, and infrastructure, while advocating for strategic collaboration between UK investors, the Ugandan government, and non-state actors. As head of a national “Think-and-Do Tank,” Mr. Katende will also share UDF’s policy work in shaping inclusive growth, strengthening systems, and creating an enabling environment for sustainable investment.
