Irene Kauma is a seasoned author, certified leadership speaker and coach, and the inspiring voice behind the Dear Destined One podcast. With nearly 30 years of experience in administration, management, public service, and leadership development, she has dedicated her life to helping individuals and organisations discover, embrace, and walk boldly in their God-given purpose.

She is the Founder of HillCity Consult, a leadership and organisational development consultancy that equips leaders, teams, and institutions to operate with clarity, excellence, and lasting impact.

Irene currently serves as Undersecretary and Senior Private Secretary to the First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports in the Government of Uganda. In this role, she combines faith, public service, leadership, and administration with grace, discipline, and integrity.

Her leadership influence extends across several platforms. She serves on the Apostolic Team of Inuka Afrika, an apostolic movement on the African continent committed to raising transformational leaders. She is also the Uganda Lead for the Mantle of Deborah, an apostolic and prophetic vision that equips women to influence and transform every sphere, including business, governance, family, ministry, and society. In addition, Irene contributes her expertise through service on various boards, NGOs, and as an associate consultant with the Uganda Management Institute.

A devoted follower of Jesus, Irene’s personal journey is a testimony of resilience, purpose, and transformation. Having overcome rejection and low self-esteem, she has risen into a life of significance, service, and leadership impact.
